Auckland Glass were initially engaged to provide a high-level design proposal for weathertightness works to be completed at Newmarket Train Station. This required AG to get involved at an earlier stage and carry out a design & build for an important client. The project involved numerous stakeholders and methodology risk due to working in a live rail environment.
The result is fantastic and has more than achieved the desired outcome, providing a weathertight footbridge for the public and commuters to use, whilst still achieving sufficient airflow with the use of the fixed glass louvres. This project was delivered on time, and with AG’s methodology and design, the project came in well under budget.
